Y!StatusRevolution - Show What Song You`re Listening To on Yahoo

Y!StatusRevolution changes the status in Yahoo! Messenger with what song you’re listening to. It can also be used as a simple status changer. It’s based on macros so it’s very easy to use.

For the beginning just select a predefined status, start your favorite audio player and click ok. Click “Macros” for a list of strings to insert in your status to have aditional info in your status besides the song name.

You can have the length of the current song, bitrate, player volume and a few others.

Y!StatusRevolution currently works with AIMP player and Winamp.

Send and Receive Twitter updates via Instant Messaging

Twitt'd allows you to receive and send Twitter updates via Skype, Windows Live Messenger, Jabber/Gtalk or Yahoo! Messenger.

Just add Twitt'd contact to your favorite IM's buddy list and send your message :

• Skype : Add twittd
• Google Talk, Jabber : Add twittd@jabber.org
• Windows Live Messenger : Add twittd@live.com
• Yahoo! Messenger : Add twittd

After you enter your Twitter username and password, Twitt'd will send you updates from people you are following and everything you send to Twitt'd will be posted to your Twitter timeline!

"This is one of the must useful features when using skype for business. Especially with an organization the size of b5media. I use shared groups to deploy blogger skype contacts to all of the b5media bloggers, the b5media Toronto Office and b5media Tech Team amoungst others. The blogger group is great becase when a new blogger comes on they instantly have access to dozens of other b5bloggers through skype.

I have personal Skype groups for b5 Third Party Contacts, for Rhett and Link, and others. The third party group is great because it contains both normal phone numbers and skype contacts. Since I have skype out, my laptop is my work phone.
