1. Create a new file on Notepad

2. Paste the following text :

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Yahoo\Pager\YUrl]
“Messenger Ad”=”*”
“Webcam Upload Ad”=”*”
“Webcam Viewer Ad”=”*”
“Webcam Viewer Ad Bid”=”*”
“Webcam Viewer Ad Medium”=”*”
“Change Room Banner”=”*”
“Conf Adurl”=”*”
“Chat Adurl”=”*”

3. Save the file with any name.

4. Change the file extension from .txt to .reg

5. Now you have a registry file to remove Yahoo Messenger ads. Double click on it to update your Windows registy. Done.

For other versions of Yahoo Messenger all you need to search your registry manually for the exact or smilar keys on the text file. You can seach keys on your Registy editor by pressing Start > Run > type regedit > OK > Edit > Find...
