    It seems to me that Microsoft has been dedicating a lot of strategic effort to taking more of the IM market. I say this in large part because of the level of coordination which is required for them to be launch so many market acqusition programs at once.

    I suspect that taking control of the IM market has become a higher level priority over there but I don't know of any formal statements towards that goal and I haven't read anything addressing their possible strategy. Have you?
