This simple patch removes all ads from Yahoo! Messenger 9 Beta.

Note : Use it at your own risk and scan the file with your anti-virus. Someone reported a trojan in the file but I scanned it with AVG and it didn't detect any suspicious item.

    Hey.. thanks it worked..

    I hope it doesn't do any other stuff other than removing the ads.

    Like sending private info, sending passwords and chat logs, etc.

    this file works well thankyou.
    but be warned if you use the file and like to enter yahoo chat rooms you will not be able to get there.

    There are NO viruses or trojans attached to this file, I have checked with 3 main antivirus checkers.

    any one that says it contains a trojan will probably find there are more trojans in there pc than a file like this, and it would be great if you did find a virus or trojan to identify it and saying how or what found it,

    um.... Or you could just edit the following Reg key:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Yahoo\pager\Locale

    set "Enable Messenger Ad" value to 0 (means "no")
