Adium the popular multi-service instant messaging and chat client for Mac OS X, has been updated to version 1.1.

Adium supports AIM/iChat, MSN, Yahoo Messenger, Google Talk and more.

One of the important part of this update is tabbed window support:

* Tabs can now be oriented vertically or horizontally
* Tabs handle overflow better, by showing a “chevron” (») pop-up menu
* Improved drag & drop behavior with tabs
* Improved tab length calculation
* Tabs can display the number of unread messages
