RunABot allows users come together and create their own AIM bots. The cursory process looks fairly easy.

1. Create a bot screenname at AOL or ICQ -- (it should include the word "bot") (remember screenname and password). You should not use a previously used screenname and you have to never log in as that screenname.
2. Configure your bot's info and preferences on the next page.
3. Sign on your bot.
4. Test your bot and make modifications as necessary.
5. Return to this site to take care of and update your bot! We don't want any orphan bots running around!

Creating your own AIM bot with RunABot does require that you create an account with RunABot, but the account only requires an email address.
